“You’ll Never Be Everyone’s Cup of Tea—And That’s More Than OK”: Embracing Imperfection, Confidence, and Living Life On Your Terms

You often realize major things through heartbreaking experiences and a long journey. One essential thing she came to terms with was that she was not for everyone. And it is okay! You do not have to go through a roller coaster of emotions, and guilt trips for every little thing.
People quickly judge and have opinions based on how they view the world. Where someone might see you as very bold and loud, others would love the jolly side, as it might seem like a human full of life. She realized how talking too much, laughing too hard, or speaking whatever came to her mind was not a problem. The real issue is the people. Others might even see the same person as quiet, cold, and distant! Countless things contribute to these perceptions.
The woman penned down all that she has felt through these years, so, as a mom, while some see her as an irresponsible, forgetful mom who cares about her career and not the kids, others see her as an ideal woman who manages the kids and the work.

They think of her as a perfect planner and a perfectionist!
The main point of explaining all this is that no matter what you do, your personality, or how hard you try, you can never be good enough for everyone. Either you are too much or not enough—two extremes!
The truth is, no one knows your true self except for you. The woman knows she is messy and organized, Loud and quiet, and whatnot. She is a perfectly layered human being, so she does not try to fit in everywhere but where she belongs.
Society is harsh to women with its high expectations and how it expects them to be and look perfect in every role. But, as a woman, you do not have to think about others but yourself, as it affects no one but you. Why do you even have to do this? Do you know you have enough self-belief? Are you not trying every day to become a better version of yourself? Is it just for the sake of society accepting you?
A woman is always concerned about people’s thoughts and looks forward to approval and validation. She forgets it’s her story and her journey! Whether it is about chasing your career, building a family, staying in your comfort zone, choosing to work a few extra hours, saying out your thoughts without thinking a thousand choices, or even if it’s about art, baking, or learning to play an instrument—the story is yours to build!

No one woman needs to apologize for being herself or being sorry for how she is living a life that is only HERS. You can’t change how people think, but it doesn’t mean you need to change yourself, as people do not even need a reason; they pull you down. It’s time to stop thinking and start loving yourself before anyone else! You are not everyone’s cup of tea, which makes you beautiful.
