Little Austan, who was now four and a half years old, did not have an easy life due to his health conditions. In the years when children tend to learn so many new things, adapt habits from people around them, learn new skills, and try new stuff, Austin had a confined life. His condition was chronic, and because of having aspiration issues, Austin had to completely rely on being tube-fed for two whole years since his birth.
Not only this, but his health has also limited the baby’s mental growth and made him sensitive to most sensory inputs. Like other children, her mother also wished Austin to interact with people around and show the brightest smiles when the camera pointed at him; however, such events were rare.
On Christmas, the mother experienced what she had longed to see for so long!

The couple took their lovely boy out for Christmas to see Santa, and what happened that day was unexpected yet so sweet. Austin still primarily relied on tube feeding, but this Santa poured milk into his tube. His smile and glowing eyes demonstrated how excited and proud he was.
He even looked at his mom, who was full of love, asking if she had seen how Santa had just given him milk. He felt the sense of inclusion and coolness couldn’t be compared to anything else. Although Austin was sick, it was an unusual experience for Santa, too, but with nervousness and shaky hands, that day Santa chose Austin’s happiness over his fear.
He was an incredible man. Santa was patient despite the many people around him, figuring out what had to be done. The fact that he was ready to make Austin’s Christmas special mattered a lot to the parents and clearly to Austin, too. It was so emotional for the parents to see their child so excited and happy that they were in tears. Despite being four now, Austin never got to experience many things, and even when he wants to, people often overlook the ot caring about how the little boy would feel. Thus, this action meant the entire world.

Two years have passed since this beautiful incident, and Austin has finally improved. Although he takes small bites, he can eat again. He still needs the tubes for the fluids and supplements. However, his dream of trying to taste food finally came true after so long. The pictures from that Christmas celebration are not ordinary for the parents or Austin, as it was the day he felt seen and special.
Santa might have been experiencing many emotions while he fed the little boy, yet his kindness won the hearts of many people. Some people deserve all the love and happiness they get from their surroundings.
