Who would not want the cutest little puppy to participate in their photoshoot? Mortie, a mixed-breed puppy, was adopted by the local rescue team. He is a Pinscher/Yorkie mix and is now a four-year-old baby that everyone adores. Although Mortie was initially just required for a single photoshoot, he was to be used as a prop as the owner who had adopted him worked as a producer in a commercial photography studio.

However, it was truly amazing and shocking how Mortie was such a good baby during the photo shoot and acted all natural in front of the camera. Who knew it would become Mortie’s permanent career, as he was a professional! The owner now offers themed photoshoots with the dog and even a personal calendar for the loved ones. Over time, people were so inclined towards including Mortie in the photographs that it was truly adorable.

Although small, Mortie’s cuteness and friendly personality gave the dog the power to win hearts, benefiting the owner’s business. That is why he got costumes made specially for Mortie to cater to different events, from Valentine’s Day to Halloween. Morite had the cutest sweaters and character costumes! How adorable is the thought of a doggie having a closet of his clothes and props? He was the star of the family. This was another reason they lovingly called him ‘The house of Mortie’. After all, everyone wanted to be with him in pictures, nothing ordinary.

Things took a significant turn when Mortie’s owner received the news of expecting a baby. She was not sure if Mortie would be able to accept the baby. Although he was harmless and behaved really well, a significant factor was that he constantly had the attention and love of the entire family. Mortie was a spoiled doggie, so the worries of divided attention and acceptance were worrying. It felt like the next few months flew by quickly, and soon, baby Emmet came into the world on 3rd September 2016.

The family was the happiest when they observed how, instead of showing signs of anger and jealousy, Mortie was really gentle around the baby and showed tender and patient behaviour. The parents adored the gentle sniffs and snuggles near him. Not just this, but on days that were tough for Mom and Dad because of taking care of the baby, Mortie became equally tired as he did not sleep throughout the night and supported his owner.

As Emmet grew and better understood his environment, Morite was among the first words he said. He grew up becoming a baby who loved sharing his snaps with the little fur ball in the house, which Mortie seemed to enjoy equally. With Emmet’s presence, extra treats for Mortie were a norm, and seeing their bond, the owner knew it was time to get back to photographing the friends before it was too late.

The pictures taken would be a memory that Emmet would cherish forever. The first photo shoot gave them memories that we call ‘picture perfect’. It was done for Valentine’s Day, in which five-month-old emmet dressed up as a chef with the cutest little Hat and a shirt that said ‘Kiss the cook,’ whereas Mortie slayed a red Bandana, acting as the taste tester. This started a beautiful, brotherly bond about drooly kisses and laughter that echoed in the house.

After that day, the photoshoots never stopped, and every time Mom and Dad had a crazy idea, it was implemented. For example, the two were dressed as burgers and fries on Halloween—the cutest little duo! The photoshoots aimed to capture the beautiful bond, so Emmet had memories to cherish with his first friend even after Mortie is long gone. Their story is all about ridiculous pictures full of love and laughter!
