Joe and Ana got married more than seven years ago. They were madly in love and had no plans of embarking on a health and fitness journey, although both were overweight. However, they did not let the weight bother them and did not see how problematic it could be for them to be physically fit. It was never done wholeheartedly when they started dieting, and they ended up giving up. Rather than motivating each other to get physically fit, they were convinced that the weight was all natural, marking the end of the topic.

However, you never know what sparks the thought of changing your lifestyle, habits, routine, etc. The change occurred when the couple decided to vacation in New England. It was a sunny morning when the couple decided to go for a short hike, but the weather got extremely windy, and this was when the couple felt embarrassed and uncomfortable, as there were people around. The realisation that they chose this life, and two years ago, things changed for them when they started tracking calories and became physically active.

Their routine now includes jogging three times a week, and the couple also experiments with various apps and Weight Watchers to track what they eat. The weight loss journey would take time as the pounds ticked off every time they weighed themselves, but the process was slow. None of them enjoyed jogging and did not like how they couldn’t eat the foods they loved so much in significant portions anymore.
The feeling of starvation, especially at the beginning of their journey, was familiar, too. Thus, rather than following a random plan, Ana opted for Keto. It was not just a diet, but an entire lifestyle that had to be followed religiously. It was clear that the weight wouldn’t go down instantly, but the results were precise within six months of starting keto. The lighter they got, the more confident and comfortable they became, and with a healthy lifestyle came happiness.

The positive changes in their lives motivated Joe and Anaa to set a goal to achieve, after which they would give themselves an incentive. They ended up deciding on a trip to Disney World, but it was only possible if they hit the set target. The motivation was the perfect push for them to start achieving more. Thus, they became physically active and the ideal couple who planned and cooked their meals together and were the strongest pillars of support in this journey, too. The discomfort of keeping an eye on each other’s diet did come in between; however, their bond was strengthened over time, too.

Taking the first step towards their weight loss journey was tough, but with one push, they realized how they had previously perceived everything wrong. The thought that being overweight was their destiny that had to be accepted was incorrect, as humans have the free will to eat what they like and want and to keep a balance in their lives, no matter what aspect.
When 2017 was going to end, the couple could proudly say that it was the year of transformations as Joe lost over 100 pounds, whereas Ana lost over 60 pounds, something they never believed could become real.

By year-end, the couple had reached the set targets, and it was now time to visit Disney Land with bodies they were comfortable in—ones that showcased their hard work and what they achieved together!
