Everyone has a different love story or different ways they have felt loved in their lives. Amber’s love life was magical as she experienced the love people pray for, where you marry your best friend. On 21st April, 2018, Amber got engaged to the love of her life. It was not an ordinary day, but the senior prom day. When all the high schoolers looked forward to getting prom proposals, she got proposed to by the right person!
At prom every year, everyone looks forward to wearing the perfect dress, hair, and makeup, and while Amber was busy deciding everything to look perfect, her mother and Dawson had a plan ready to leave her surprised and the happiest. The proposal was so well-planned that even the makeup artist was told to use waterproof makeup that day, knowing Amber would get all teary. This is the beauty of being surrounded by loved ones. The couple had decided to take pictures before the prom, so by late afternoon, both were all set and had reached the Inn studio in Texas right on time.
The photographer hired was Dawsen’s sister, so the couple posed comfortably without hesitation, looking effortlessly beautiful. For a picture, Dawson’s sister asked Amber to turn her back to him. She told Amber how she wanted a perfect picture of the tattoo Amber had on her back, and so she turned out of excitement to see the photograph. It was in that moment that everyone was ready to fulfill their responsibilities. Dawson’s sister was prepared to capture the moment. Amber’s mother, who stood just a few meters away, was already teary-eyed, witnessing one of the most beautiful moments of her daughter’s life.
In no time, she pulled out her mobile to record, and seeing her, Amber gave her a warm laugh and told her not to cry, as it was just prom and not her wedding. Just a moment later, Amber was left jaw-dropped! As she turned back, Dawson was on his knee, looking with eyes full of love, holding the most beautiful wife. The moment he asked Amber to marry her, she was left in disbelief as this wasn’t what she had expected, but she knew she had been in love with Dawson for a long time. At first, Amber smiles and then bursts into tears before saying yes. Then, she bent down to give him a quick kiss and spoke words that are to date kept private between the couple. Something valuable for sure!
The couple had been together since their first year, and their bond was one of a kind, as no matter what happened, they knew they had to stick together. The memories between the two were countless, and the laughter shared was priceless. The couple had always kept marriage the key goal; however, Amber never thought it could come this early. She was happy! The prom was magical for them, as by the time they reached the venue, the family and their close ones had gotten the news of the proposal and were the happiest.
The two grabbed dinner and danced the night out. Seeing their friends equally happy for them made them realise how real ones surrounded them. Although they were only 18 at the time of the proposal and heard judgment like it was too early, the couple wanted to keep it all positive and brushed it off quickly, knowing their love was rare and authentic.
The families of Amber and Dawson also had to hear harsh words at times, but all that mattered to them was the happiness of their children, as they knew what their support meant for them, too. Thus, Amber and Dawson keep accepting the love that comes from strangers from all over the world and do not let the hate bother them. All they look forward to is building a beautiful life together—a lifetime well-spent!
