This one is for everyone who’s struggling. She just wanted to tell you that you are not alone. There were days when her life felt hard, and tasks as simple as getting out of bed seemed like a burden. The times when her head was full of the whispers that maybe she just doesn’t have what it takes to be a mother, a partner, a friend, or even herself. She would reply to that voice: ‘You are not alone.’
She knew the feeling when motherhood seemed to knock the very wind out of her lungs, when it made her tired, exhausted to her bones, and when she questioned everything, wondering if she was truly meant for this. There were moments when she felt like everything she had worked so hard for was starting to fall apart. It was as if all her carefully tied strings were becoming undone in one big, beautiful mess. But even in those moments, she reminded herself again and again that she is not alone.

There were days when she lost her patience and snapped at her husband. Not because she didn’t love him, but because life felt too heavy to carry. When guilt crept in, she whispered to herself, You’re not the only one. There were times when hurtful words from others stuck to her heart, and she couldn’t shake them off. There were such times, too, when she was the one saying things, unable to control her tongue, she didn’t mean, wishing she could take them back. But even then, she knew she wasn’t fighting this battle alone.
She was at a crossroads, staring at choices that made her heart ache and praying for answers that didn’t come quickly. She had watched people around her reach their goals while she still felt stuck at the starting line, just watching others. She had felt the pain of friendships fading, wondering if she was the problem, if maybe something about her just wasn’t enough.

But through every pain and every doubt, she learned she was never truly alone. Amid her struggles, something steady remained. It wasn’t her own strength or determination that got her through the hard days. It was the deep comfort of knowing that God’s love surrounded her, His love held her close in His faithfulness, guided her life even when the path was unclear.
That truth kept her moving forward, one tired step at a time, even when she wanted to give up. She found peace in knowing that while her feelings changed and her confidence was a rollercoaster, God’s was always there. He stayed the same yesterday, today, and forever. She could lean on His strength when hers was gone. He never wavered, so she could trust His steadiness when she felt like life’s storms were tossing her around. His love felt like a solid wall she could lean on. He was leading her, even when the path was totally dark. That one idea is what kept her putting one foot in front of the other. Some days, that was all she could do. Her own feelings were all over the place. But God?
He was the same steady presence, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. When she had no strength left, she used his. He never budged. So when her life felt like a hurricane, she could hide in his calm. This is what she wanted you to understand. It does not matter if you are happy or sad, scared or full of faith. You are not going through it by yourself. God is with you. Right there in the quiet, in the fear, in the unknown.

His love seeps into every crack and mends the broken pieces of your heart. So tonight, when you put your head on the pillow, and your heart is just so tired, hear her words: You are not alone. Not right now. Not ever. And she really believed that if we all remembered this, we could help carry one another. She would help you, and you would help her. And together, we will all get through. Not because we are so great, but because he is so good. Better together. Always.
With love,
A fellow struggler.
