Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty and his wife Holly Ramsay have announced they’re expecting their first child together, a baby girl due in December 2026.
Holly shared the news on Instagram on Saturday, posting a photo showing her baby bump. In her caption she wrote: “Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026. We can’t wait to meet our baby girl.”

The announcement comes just half a year after the couple tied the knot.
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana Ramsay are set to become grandparents for the first time when the baby arrives this winter. The couple were married at Bath Abbey on December 27, 2025, with later celebrations held at Kin House in the countryside.
Gordon Ramsay reacted to the news with excitement, writing: “Congratulations to you both, sending lots of love. Dad I’m going to be a very over excited grandad, especially this Christmas.”
The post quickly drew congratulations from well-known figures, including Victoria Beckham and her son Romeo Beckham, who commented their best wishes on Holly’s announcement.
Peaty has been fully embraced by the Ramsay family and is said to now call Gordon and Tana “mum” and “dad”.

However, the news also comes amid ongoing family tensions for the swimmer. He has been in a public dispute with his estranged relatives since last November, after reportedly excluding his parents, Caroline and Mark, from his wedding.
Only his sister Bethany attended the Bath Abbey ceremony, as she has been caught between both sides of the family conflict.
His estranged relatives have since accused him of using the Ramsay name for publicity, including claims linked to his entry for the upcoming Commonwealth Games under the name Adam Ramsay-Peaty.
A source close to the family told the Daily Mail that he is “cashing in on the Ramsay name,” while also criticising his decisions and suggesting he is prioritising fame over family ties.
