Keir Starmer embarrassed live on air as foul-mouthed England chant erupts

Keir Starmer was left red-faced live on GB News after an England fan revealed the foul-mouthed chant being aimed at the Prime Minister during football matches. Presenter Ben Leo was reporting live from Dallas during the FIFA World Cup when he spoke to a British supporter, who said: “I’d like to say as well, all the England fans started chanting ‘f*** Keir Starmer.’”

Laughing awkwardly, Ben quickly jumped in: “Don’t say that! We apologise. He’s a great prime minister — sorry for the foul language!” The fan replied: “Yeah, sorry.” Still chuckling, Ben then asked: “What’s your point?”

The supporter simply shouted: “Rupert Lowe, Restore Britain!” before Ben signed off with: “Good man, thank you.”

It comes after days of Starmer appearing to be on the receiving end of jabs from US President Donald Trump, including several public snubs caught on camera.

Speaking on Wednesday about America’s conflict with Iran, Trump said: “I was a little disappointed. The UK… I said, ‘It would be nice if you sent ships.’ I didn’t push hard, but I said it would be nice.”

He added: “The prime minister said, ‘They’ll be there as soon as the war is over.’ I said, ‘Did he really just say that?’ I honestly couldn’t believe it.”

Trump also appeared to brush past Starmer at the G7 summit, turning instead to greet French President Emmanuel Macron with a handshake and conversation, offering Starmer little more than a brief pat on the shoulder. He also seemed to ignore him again on Tuesday while greeting other world leaders.
