Sir Rod Stewart needed emergency oxygen during his concert in Utah on Friday night after almost passing out on stage.
The 81-year-old rock legend was performing at Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City when he suddenly appeared unwell, bending over and grabbing onto instruments and stage equipment to steady himself.
Video from the show captured the veteran singer leaning heavily on a piano during Young Turks before crew members rushed out with an oxygen tank.
After taking several deep breaths through the mask, Stewart addressed the crowd with his usual humour, saying: “The show must go on. I nearly f***ing fainted there. Would you mind if I sit down for this one?”

The Maggie May singer finished the rest of the set seated in a chair, joking with fans that he had “dang near fainted.”
The frightening moment comes after a difficult few weeks for the British star’s health.
Earlier this month, Stewart had to reschedule several shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace after doctors told him to rest while recovering from influenza.
His health issues worsened on June 12 when a concert in San Diego was cancelled just hours before showtime.
Doctors later diagnosed him with an acute upper respiratory infection that developed into laryngitis, leaving him unable to perform.
“Following treatment, I’m feeling much better, but my voice is not,” Stewart told fans on Instagram, alongside a photo of himself standing alone inside the empty venue.
He had also cancelled two Las Vegas residency shows in late May due to a sinus infection that required vocal rest.
Stewart later faced criticism after the California cancellation when he was seen travelling to Boston the next day to watch Scotland play Haiti in a World Cup group-stage match.

He shared footage on Instagram showing himself and his sons, Aidan and Alastair, aboard a private jet heading to the game, and was reportedly spotted enjoying a drink in the stands.
Stewart later defended the trip, saying treatment had improved his overall condition, but his voice was still too weak for live performance.
The singer is currently in the middle of the North American leg of his One Last Time farewell tour, marking the end of his large-scale touring career after more than six decades on stage.
The former Faces frontman launched the tour in 2024, though recent weeks have been disrupted by several cancellations and postponements.

His shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, originally scheduled for June 15 and 16, have now been moved to September 2027.
Despite the setbacks, Stewart has still delivered strong performances when healthy, with critics describing his recent Hollywood Bowl appearance as “vivacious.”
He told 17,500 fans: “This is my last time here, so let’s have a party tonight.”
His next scheduled show is set for July 31 in Wantagh.
