The Royal Household has not received any confirmation from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex accepting an offer to stay at a royal property during their upcoming UK visit, GB News understands.
This goes against earlier reports suggesting Prince Harry and Meghan had agreed to use accommodation on a royal estate.

After several days of conflicting claims and later corrections about what different parties had indicated, there is still no formal response recorded by the Royal Household regarding the invitation.
The confusion follows initial suggestions that the Sussexes had accepted King Charles’s offer of hospitality for their planned July trip.
GB News had previously reported that the couple would split their stay between a royal residence and private accommodation during the visit.
The trip next month would mark the first time Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, have been back in the UK since 2022. Both children last attended Britain during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations four years ago.

A Palace source previously told the People’s Channel on June 19 that accommodation on the royal estate had been offered to the family for possible visits. Earlier this week, it had been understood that the offer had been accepted.
Prince Harry is due to begin his programme with an Invictus Games Foundation event at Chatham House, before he and Meghan make their first joint public appearance in the UK since 2020 at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Neither Archie nor Lilibet are expected to take part in any official engagements, and details of their private arrangements have not been disclosed.
The Duke has previously raised concerns about bringing his family back to the UK following his unsuccessful legal challenge over publicly funded police protection. Speaking to the BBC after the ruling, he said: “I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at this point.”
