Prince Harry slammed as GB News cuts in with shocking breaking update

Prince Harry has come under fire on GB News after reports suggested he may no longer be bringing Meghan Markle and their two children to the UK. The Duke of Sussex, 41, is due to visit Britain next month for a one-year countdown event for the 2027 Invictus Games. He was initially expected to be joined by Meghan and their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five. However, following reports that the family was not granted taxpayer-funded security, Harry is now said to be considering travelling alone and leaving them in California.

During her GB News programme, Nana Akua launched a sharp criticism of the Duke, accusing him of “throwing his toys out of the pram.” She said: “The Sussexes are supposed to be coming to the UK, or maybe not, because the British taxpayer doesn’t want to fund their security.”

She added: “The spoiled brat, the Duke of Sussex, may well throw his toys out of the pram again. After announcing his trip, he later found out his family would not be given police protection during what was meant to be a five-day Invictus-related visit.”

Akua also claimed Harry undermined his own security by revealing personal details in his 2023 memoir Spare, and suggested he is using his children to push for official protection.

She continued: “After compromising his security and his family’s in Spare, where he spoke about his time in Afghanistan and complained about life as the King’s son, Harry has been on what I’d call a campaign against the British press, which he seems to blame for his mother’s death.

“He has taken both the press and the Home Office to court, and added emotional pressure by involving his children as leverage to seek RAVEC-level protection — something usually reserved for working royals, a role he and Meghan stepped away from in their pursuit of privacy.”

The presenter also claimed that if the trip goes ahead, state-funded security would only apply while the couple are on royal property.

Harry is reportedly keen for Archie and Lilibet to see their grandfather, King Charles, whom they last saw around four years ago.

She concluded: “I’m not convinced. Here’s an idea, Harry: apply for security properly for the visit so your children can see the King, instead of using the trip to promote other projects. It’s really not complicated.”
