A 34-year-old man has been charged with five counts of attempted murder following a car incident that injured several pedestrians in west London, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Timir Ahmed Mohamed, from Grange Park in Ealing, was arrested after a vehicle struck people in the Ealing Broadway area on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services were called around 2:30pm. Three people were taken to hospital, while two others were treated at the scene.
Alongside the attempted murder charges, Mohamed also faces allegations of dangerous driving, failing to stop after the incident, failing to provide a breath sample, and criminal damage. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court.
Authorities confirmed that Counter Terrorism Policing London were informed during the early stages of the investigation, although the incident is not being treated as terrorism. Police say inquiries are still ongoing and they are keeping an open mind about the motive.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said multiple resources were sent to the scene, including paramedics, ambulance crews, fast response units, an incident officer, and the air ambulance. One patient was taken to a major trauma centre, while two others were taken to a local hospital.
