Adoption provides a home to little angels and heals a broken heart. A beautiful example is the story of Alo and Ashley, who fell in love when they met in Arizona. The love was so real that they were set to marry in Utah in just a few months. Since the day they met, the couple discussed their love for babies and for building a beautiful, loving family.
However, destiny always has better plans, which might seem harsh at first but are the ones that make you make the best decisions. In 2013, after their marriage, the couple learned that Ashley was infertile and would never be able to conceive. Their hearts broke, but what kept them together was the love they had for each other.

Repeated hospital visits in the hope of getting positive news, sleepless nights spent with a heavy heart, and teary eyes made it draining. Knowing MCU Alo wanted to build a family too, broke Ashley, and she blamed herself for everything. Being a great partner, he reassured her that nothing was her fault and some things were meant to be. Every time someone from their friend circle or family broke down the news of their pregnancies, although the couple was happy for them, their hope to build a family dimmed.
Over time, things started to get better as they had no other option but to accept that it would always be the two of them and their love.

But that was when things took a turn! Alo’s brother called him to say three children needed a home because they had entered state custody. It was sudden, but knowing the house would finally be filled with the sound of kids excited the couple, so they agreed to foster them without thinking any further.
In a few days, the next news left them in utter shock.
It wasn’t just the three of them; there were six kids they had to care for when they did not even know how to take care of one. The couple did not want the siblings to separate, so rather than giving back the three, they decided to welcome all six of them to their family.

On 30th March, the home felt fault. When the kids entered their home, they were sure they had made the right decision, as it was all they needed to complete the family. Their conditions were not too good, and four of them had special needs, which was a great challenge, but this time, they were not going to give up at any cost when God had finally given them the chance to embrace parenthood.
Ashley and Alo, with all their efforts and love, were the perfect parents to the kids, and it seemed like the kids loved them back, too. They fostered them for three years, and then they were officially a family! One of the couple could dream of.

Their story of how their hopelessness turned into their biggest blessing reminds us that we should never give up on things, and love finds us in unimaginable ways!
