Kids, the most angelic creatures on earth, never fail to give their parents unique experiences. A little girl with great confidence was all set to look like a fairy in her new princessy green dress. Seeing the excitement, the mother knew that some great photos had to be taken for memories, and it was picture day at school, so everything seemed perfect.
However, how it all turned out gave everyone a good laugh!
It was September, when most schools began their classes, so on a Friday, the school picture had arrived, on which every child dressed their best to take pictures as a memory. All parents want their children to stand out, so hundreds of questions keep occupying their minds. Choosing the perfect background, deciding on unique outfits that the kids would love and not get dirty that day, and making the kids smile, everything felt like mini tasks to get the perfect photo.
The mother asked the siblings to choose their outfits as they liked to give the kids a sense of independence and work on their decision-making skills. For the little princess, Addy, who was still too little to decide, Laura, the mommy, helped her choose an emerald green dress. It was a beautiful sequin number, and imagining her youngest in the dress filled her heart with joy. It was the kind of dress that would make Addy stand out in a room full of people.
When the day finally arrived, Laura woke her early to make her a pretty hairdo. The mother-daughter duo decided to go for curls, and Addy also wore the prettiest necklace that her late grandmother gave her. The most special thing about the necklace was that it was custom-made back when the grandmother was a toddler, but unfortunately, despite having the will to pass it on, grandma left early.
The father was set to drop the kids off at school, but before leaving, a quick picture of the siblings, each looking unique, was taken. The parents were so excited to see the photos, as the mother knew the green dress with the purple background Addy had chosen would make the image perfect!
It was Laura’s birthday, and when the pictures were emailed, the moment she opened the mail to preview the photo, expecting to adore her little princess, she was left speechless. Her head was floating!
The purple backdrop that Addy had chosen for the picture blended in with the photographer’s greenscreen, and the results were hilarious!
Although there were 87 backgrounds available, from pretty scenery to solids as options, after trying each one, it kept getting funnier because of her floating head. While on one, she became a part of the American flag, on the other, she was a road! The pictures had to be shared with the husband to make his long, tiring day funny!
To date, picture day is one of the parents’ favourite moments, and seeing how Addy loved the pictures made the memory even more precious, as her happiness is all the couple ever wants! One green dress gave the parents a memory to remember forever!
