When 19-year-old Ya’Niyyah Malik found out she was pregnant since 2 months, her ex-boyfriend broke her heart. He said that nobody would ever love him again. However, only a few months later, she met Jonathon, and then everything changed in her life.

Since then, Jonathon’s always there for her. The couple now resides in Maryland, caring for her daughter, Imani, as a team. Right from the start, Jonathon made sure he never felt alone.

Pregnancy was tough, especially with all the mood changes, says Ya’Yeah. Still, Jonathon was with her all the time. He attended all my appointments, ensured I was eating, giving me belly rubs, and offered me emotional support. He always kept up.

Ya’Yeah love the way that how Jonathon take care of her and love her daughter. She shared that Jonathon never expects the credits, yet she thinks he deserves all the love, not just as a boyfriend but also as a dad.
He is an astonishing guy, she said. Other says things, but he ignored the bad vibes for me. He keeps working hard. He constantly seeks out opportunities to earn additional income to support us.

Jonathon has made a main role in baby Imani’s life. From the beginning, he has been actively involved, whether it is bringing her to the doctor, taking her to daycare, or staying home with her when Ya’Yeah needs to work.
As Imani reached near to her first birthday, Ya’Yeah glows with pride. She has already started speaking and taking her steps. And indeed, she is certainly pampered,” she chuckles. Also, she is a very brilliant kid.

Their family story is unique, but their bond is strong. As she looks to the future, she has big dreams for herself, Jonathon apically for her baby.

I hope that Imani grows up as a strong, confident and a successful Black Woman. I want her to realize that struggles do not define her; she can do what she wants.

And regarding the future of their relationship? Ya’Yeah wishes for their connection to keep developing.

I wish Jonathon and I stayed together forever. I want us to continue creating our life together, supporting and caring for our daughter, and also welcoming another child.
