My closely 9-year-old loomed me a few weeks ago with a sole appeal could I arrange for her dolls to have a bridal photo shoot? Barbie and Ken had seemingly fallen in love and were getting married! And, because she’s been raised to know an artist’s period is valuable, she wanted to “pay” me in lots of love and reflexologies. How could I waste?

When her 7-year-old sister erudite of the scheme, she directly wanted to join in on the fun. She obtainable to pay me with “dull work,” which I’m still figuring out, but I happily accepted the deal. They began arranging their ideal wedding after keeping the photo shoot.

As it twisted out, Barbie (now warmly called Lila) and Justin had already had their rite because they couldn’t wait for their singular day. My daughter respectfully asked me to take their wedding representatives, guided by her artistic vision, but I was a little dissatisfied that I missed it. How could I not?

Employed on this creative scheme with my girls that eve ended up being one of the happiest and most inspiring experiences of my life. I could never have imagined the scenes and ideas they came up with on my own. It brought to mind how children have a way of energizing the soul as well as the orignality.

We got some gorgeous pictures of Barbie in her white dress surrounding Ken in his prince costume, the two of them sitting on rocks with a view of the water, holding hands while lying in the grass, and even equestrian toy horses together. Every picture took the creative play and love only children can produce.
