Their story started when she was two, and he was just three, both attending a wedding. The mothers of both children were close friends, so they attended a mutual friend’s wedding. Briggs was the ring bearer, whereas Brittney was the flower girl. Twenty-four years ago, the love story had already started. Everyone close to them did not remember much from the wedding except that the two beautiful kids were energetic, dancing, and running around in the venue. Briggs and Brittney also had the same memories from the wedding.

Surprisingly, despite being so small, they still remembered each other’s names even after years. It was like a memory they had held close for so many years.
For the next ten years, the kids did not see or hear about each other, and life moved on, like neither existed in the other’s life. But life has the most beautiful ways of bringing in the people you love.
Soon, both of them started high school, and this was when they had to meet. Brittney was sitting in her class when a boy walked in. The hair was familiar, but she could not recognize him until he heard his name. Briggs. Though she did get an idea, she was still unsure, so the same day she went home, her first question was about the boy in the wedding photo with her. It was him! They met again, and it was not an accident!
The next day, Brittney took the picture to school and started a conversation by introducing herself and showing him the picture. Briggs gave a warm smile, seeing the image. ‘I have that same picture on my wall at home,’ he said.

Till the summer vacations in 11th grade, the bond kept growing stronger, and they became close friends as their personalities got along very well. Briggs was kind and had a heart with strong faith, which inclined Brittney towards him. Soon, Briggs himself asked her to become his girlfriend.
Brittney’s favorite memory is when Briggs visited their home to see her family. The very first thing her mom did was show him the picture. It felt like home. There was no awkwardness or silence, but a complete sense of belonging, and this was when Brittney realized how she wanted to marry him.
Since high school had ended, the couple went to different colleges. However, it wasn’t long since Briggs transferred to Minnesota State University to be closer to his girl. In 2013, on the special occasion of Thanksgiving, Briggs took the opportunity and was on his knees asking the love of his life to marry him. She did not have to think about it; it was an immediate yes.

That day, Brittney made the best decision of her life: to marry him. Thus, the couple married in 2015; since then, Brittney’s faith has grown stronger.
Although the first year of their marriage was tough, their love was unconditional. Despite being unable to get intimate or live together, they soon adjusted to each other’s lifestyles. After the couple’s first anniversary, they would figure out how to become parents soon, which meant embarking on another beautiful journey. The couple is raising two boys, and their house is full of love and laughter. Both Briggs and Brittney never fail to show how thankful they are for each other’s presence, as they give each other a sense of completeness.

The most beautiful love stories are destined, no matter how long it takes; a childhood photo made a perfect match!
