The story of a Little Girl meeting a Stranger and learning Empathy on the airport

Chaos at the airport is a norm, from the sound of rolling suitcases to constant announcements to people being in a constant rush. Hours of waiting are also common, so while baby Carter waited at the airport to board their plane, he was doing something he was best at. Being a social butterfly, Carter was making friends at the airport.
She was wandering, her little footsteps going everywhere joyfully, saying ‘Hi’ to everyone around her. She was a bundle of joy. The bright smile and jolliness of the beautiful baby made everyone give her love in return. Then, she went to a man sitting alone at the airport, lost in his thoughts.
The moment the man saw the baby, he extended his hand to shake hands and asked the baby if she wanted to sit with him. The conversation did not end so soon, but it lasted 45 minutes. Right after the casual hello, the man and the baby sat together. The man was showing Carter how to draw on his Ipad and they even watched cartoons together. They shared laughs and snacks.

How beautiful was the connection between two strangers, interacting so beautifully together? A meaningful moment!
When they interacted, there was no difference between their race, age, or colour; all that mattered was the bond they shared and the connection they felt immediately. Carter’s parents, who were watching from a little distance, felt nothing else but pride. The baby had learnt kindness and knew how to create a sense of belonging. They dreamt of this world for their daughter—a world so kind she would never get hurt!
Humanity and kindness make this world a better place to live in. Although several differences are reflected very openly in our society as individuals, being compassionate never hurts even a little.
One moment of unity can create a lasting impact on hundreds of people around you. The parents, through the story they penned down, were grateful to Joseph—the man who made little Carter learn what actual empathy looks like.
It is a beautiful lesson about how, if efforts are put in, connections can be made. Small acts of kindness can spread a lot of love!
