It was the warmest stream of falling in love with someone who could be a perfect partner and become a mother. The same was the case with Alexandria; she knew these were the two things she wanted in life, so she married in her early twenties. The couple decided to spend a year together before starting a family, so they waited. However, as time passed, there were tens of negative pregnancy tests. With each test coming out negative, their hopes kept shattering and turned into worry.
Finally, it was a magical day when, almost after nine months of constantly trying for a baby, the results came out positive. Although the time they were getting the news was slightly off, as the husband was on his final shift after a year-long layoff, the happiness could never be measured. They were all prepared to welcome their angel, but sadly, it did not last long as Alexandria had low HCG levels, and their increasing speed was too slow.

They were crushed emotionally when the doctor predicted that the case might lead to a miscarriage. When it was time for her first ultrasound, she recalled feeling called as they got nothing but an apology in return that day—the one they never wanted to hear.
With the couple’s wish to grow their family, they, of course, were not going to give up this early, so for ovulation, the doctor prescribed clomid. By Thanksgiving, she was pregnant again; however, within a week of receiving the news, she was bleeding and went through severe pain. Similarly, the second round also failed. Now what?

After three miscarriages, the couple was emotionally drained and confused about what to do and what came next in Alexandria’s way. It was also very frustrating for her as her parents were moving to another company; thus, she got stuck in the process of relocating them. The way she was engaged with her parents gave her a break to heal and get over things, and after eight months, she was pregnant again. She decided to give it time this time, so she waited for eight weeks before seeing the doctor again.
No heartbeat. The doctor said.

Although the baby was growing inside her, he never had a heartbeat, so she had to go through a D&C, which turned out to be a missed miscarriage. She dreamt of how beautiful things would feel once she entered the second trimester, but here she was, coping with the grief of losing another baby. After all that had happened, she decided to get all the related tests done, but everything was excellent!
It was just that the odds were in her favor.
The couple thought, not giving up on the life they had been dreaming of, why not give it one last try? It worked for them! After three children that they lost, a miracle baby girl was going to become a part of their lives.

Regular monitoring and testing were performed, and at 34 weeks, the baby weighed seven pounds. At the 36th week, doctors diagnosed the mother with preeclampsia, so it was high time she could get a C-section done to avoid any uncertainty.
Something went wrong during the delivery, and Alexandria went through severe chest pain and lost consciousness due to an air embolism, but the baby born was healthy. Later, Alexandria, too, recovered and finally held her baby girl.
Soon after the birth of her first baby, she was expecting again, and this time, there were no complications. A second daughter was born, and the couple was happier than ever, seeing the family grow.

Although she gave birth to two beautiful rainbow babies, the ones she lost are too close to her heart. But she believes that things could have turned out differently if it hadn’t happened. The couple loves and cherishes their children every minute of the day, as they truly are their parents’ little miracles!
