Dear Spectrum,
Today, our technician Robert visited our home to enhance our internet and assist with streaming setup. What he entered was beyond a mere service call it was a hard and difficukt day as a mother I was shocked.
Whne sailor was three years old he had two different brain condition. He cannot see and struggles to express his needs, and today has been particularly difficult. He had been weeping for much of the morning. I was balancing his needs, looking after my two-year-old daughter, attempting to stay on top of dishes and laundry, all while my husband was at work.

As Robert entered, Sailor run to him and raised his paws. Without a moment’s pause, Robert lifted him and comprised him tightly. Not just once, but repeatedly the 45 minutes he was present. He didn’t seem bothered. He took his time. He simply noticed a young child requiring support and provided it.
As Robert handle the internet, he provided me with something more valuable: a short break. Some serene moments to regain my calm and organize laundry while my son was cradled with affection and tenderness.
Robert could have simply completed his tasks and departed, but instead, he addressed a human need without anyone requesting it. That’s not just great service that is actually real care and empathy.
