While giving birth can be a beautiful journey for most, for some, it can be devastating, especially when a couple has to face a miscarriage or repeated losses. Brittany, too, wished to embrace motherhood for a long time, but destiny always had other plans for her. She was left heartbroken but never gave up even after significant losses.
Brittany and Tyler got married in 2010, and it has been long since they strongly desired to have beautiful children. They tried for months, but things did not seem right, so they knew it was time to see a doctor.

It seemed like Brittany was not ovulating, so the doctors suggested Clomid treatments, which eventually failed. Thus, the couple started going to a fertility clinic. Tables turned in 2013 when the pregnancy test finally said positive.
After three years of trying and countless prayers, it seemed that their prayers were finally coming true; however, just at 9 weeks, the baby stopped growing inside her womb. Thus, Boston’s first baby couldn’t arrive in this world, and the pregnancy had to be terminated.

The couple decided it was high time they wanted to heal, so they took a break.
Once they thought it was finally time to try again, the couple used Femara and HCG trigger shots. However, it felt like nothing seemed to work. Heartbroken, the couple stepped away from all kinds of treatments, but the wish they held deep inside their hearts never seemed to go away. It was in 2015 when something the couple didn’t see coming from a mile away happened. Brittany was expecting again!
The first 12 weeks were perfect; everything was smooth, and the doctors were satisfied this time.

On the 20th week, when the couple visited the hospital to get a few necessary tests, they were told that their baby, whom they had already named Max, had serious complications. There were concerns that he would not be able to make it as the fluid in his brain, the facial deformities that were due to a rare syndrome, amniotic band syndrome, and even a neural effect were present.
Despite the doctors suggesting that the pregnancy could be terminated, the couple chose to carry on and not give up this time, as giving birth was more like a miracle for them now. Max Carter Kin arrived in this world on November 17, 2015. His five weeks with his loving parents meant the world to Brittany and Tyler, but the goodbye felt like someone snatched something special away.

Their lives, which were filled with light because of Little Max, were again covered in darkness, but they were glad they could hold their miracle baby close and love and cherish his presence for five whole weeks.
In the next few years, two more miscarriages of their babies- Todd and Faith made things even harsher for the couple emotionally. Thus, the couple opted to get tested genetically, which revealed that Brittany had a balanced translocation of chromosomes. This was the main reason why she could not carry the pregnancy for 9 months, i.e., completion of the pregnancy.

After trying a few more times, and considering IVF, the couple had accepted that they might never welcome their babies to the home they had made with so much love.
But God always has greater things planned, and the proof is that on Mother’s Day, a family friend introduced Brittany to a pregnant lady who wanted a family who could adopt her baby. When Brittany learned this, she knew exactly what she had to do. Until the time she gave birth, Brittany and Tyler kept praying that the woman would choose them as the baby’s parents.

This time, their prayers were answered! On 8th of July, their world was once again filled with happiness, love, and laughter when the woman told them how she was okay with the couple adopting her baby Wyatt, who was welcomed with big hearts and open hearts on 6th of September. The baby was with his birth parents for two days, and while Brittany and Tyler were taking Wyatt home, they stopped on their way. On Max’s grave, to take a family picture!

Brittany now knows what it is to have a biological and adopted child. The journey either way is beautiful, and every moment is worth cherishing! Sometimes, blessings come your way when you least expect them to; thus, it is necessary never to give up.
