No matter how strong you act, at some point in life, you need someone you love to hold you tight, be there for you, and tell you that it’ll all be okay. This is what her daughter did that day. Although a child, she believed in her intuition and improved things for Mama. She knew her mother wasn’t fine that day, and it was the day her mother saw how pure the bond was.
The mother had penned down how if people were to describe her, they would say she has her life together or is strong. That is what she chooses to show every day. No matter what she is going through, she has high spirits and a broad smile to make others happy.

She looks like a mother who has everything perfectly organized, and she does not have to put in much effort, but what about the constant anxiety and worries surrounding her as she tries to reach this level of perfection?
It’s the kind of anxiety that occupies her mind and heart, and there she is, panicking while she drives and losing her breath while she plays with her little one. The anxiety isn’t mild, which can be seen by how she fears leaving the house. Everyone goes through a million things in their life.

A balance of good or bad for most, but constantly showing that you are strong and don’t need anyone soon becomes your identity, even when shattered into pieces. This is what happened with her, too, as when she lost her mother to cancer, her mother raised her without complaining and without making her feel how much she lost at such an early age.
However, in a recent series of events in her life, the anxiety returned stronger than before. It was when she almost lost her child during birth three years ago. The memories still hit her at random times, and it is a trauma she can’t get over. Although things turned out fine, the thought of losing her baby makes her fearful. Being a teacher and involved in advocacy work, the Iron Lady juggles motherhood, too, so bathing sometimes gets tough.

Once, when she wanted time alone, she asked her husband to look after their daughter to get some peace, but the moment she heard her cry, she had to let her in instantly. The mother and daughter were there hugging each other for forty-five consecutive minutes. The tiny heartbeat she could hear meant the world to her, and it felt like she was being healed in those precious minutes. The way her daughter rested her chest reminded her of how, when she was admitted to the NICU after birth, they did skin-to-skin. A mother’s love for her child makes her this powerful!

While everyone is busy juggling their work and personal lives, take a moment to check up on your loved ones. They are not necessarily as fine as they look from the outside! There is beauty in holding on to someone and becoming a safe place.
