Malcolm and Marcus are both majoring in internal level education and initial childhood education, correspondingly. In commemoration of the legacy they hoped we would last, our parents called us after Civil Rights bests Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X.

We were a little well known when we came into the world. We made native headlines when we were born since we were the largest twin set to be born in South Carolina’s Upstate. Malcolm, who considered 7 pounds, 13 ounces, was not far behindhand Marcus, who weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces.

Tiger Woods developed the first African American to victory the Masters that year, and people were talking about us before we could even skulk.

Since April 1st is our birthday, there will unavoidably be an boundless supply of April Fools’ jokes. We’ve heard the proverbs, “You were born a joke,” and “You two were born wits.” In certainty, though, we’ve accepted the funniness and pranks have always been a part of our floor.

We’ve functioned each other’s jobs (yes, we paid each other for the shift), swapped classes in middle school, and even dragged a movie theater prank where we robed alike, bought one ticket, and then arrived one at a time so it seemed as though only one person arrived.

One of our pets is the yearbook trick. Marcus asked Malcolm to take his picture since he was feeling sick on picture day. Malcolm initially objected, tittering at the thought. The hardest part was keeping a conventional face, but finally he agreed. He claims that he would have broken if the camera had been on him for a supplementary three seconds. For over two years before anyone revealed it, we were able to get away with the switch.

There are welfares to being twins, chiefly if you look alike. We’ve always contested good naturedly, trying to outdo one another in games and sports, competing for the front seat, and seeing who could gloss dinner first. Because we were afraid of the dark as broods, we would wake each other up in the middle of the night to go to the lavatory together. We frequently inadvertently say the same thing at the same time, and infrequently we can carry on entire “talks” without swapping words.

Being twins has been a talent, whether it’s through distributing a joke, a laugh, or simply the connection of rising up next to each other. And we’re content to provide a little mischief if people are pregnant it because it’s our April Fools’ birthdate.
