Three-Year-Old Girl and Her Creepy Doll ‘Creepy Chloe’ Win Hearts at Disney as Cast Members Turn Haunted Mansion Visit Into a Magical Surprise

Halloween has to be one of the most exciting events for children, especially when they have everything sorted, from what character to pull on to going trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. When your three-year-old must have the creepy Halloween doll, say yes because the thing that gives you goosebumps at bedtime might unlock all the magic by day. Not just this, it’ll be their favorite childhood memory. This happens when a three-year-old discovers Spirit Halloween and falls head-over-heels for the creepiest baby doll in the store.

Briar clutched the doll to her chest and said, “But I’m its mommy. It needs me.” That was that; the doll came home. She named it Chloe, and her mom, Brittany, jokingly called it “Creepy Chloe.” Brittany swears that the doll watches her sleep at night, maybe even trying to borrow her soul, but the kid’s love was absolute and non-negotiable.

The next day, they headed to Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Briar insisted Chloe needed a princess dress too, because spooky babies deserve fairy-tale moments. Brittany leaned into the bit and dressed Briar in a Haunted Mansion-style outfit to keep the theme going. A pastry chef who adores everything eerie met them at breakfast in the Grand Floridian Cafe.

She was delighted that a tiny child loved such a weird doll. By the end of the meal, Briar had a spooky cupcake and a handmade chocolate Haunted Mansion poster. It was oddly sweet like Halloween wrapped in pixie dust. At Magic Kingdom, a photographer spotted them and offered a full mini-shoot for the doll. Instead of the usual parade of glittery princesses, this photographer got to pose a little girl and her unsettling sidekick.

She kept dreaming up funny, dramatic angles for Chloe, and Briar beamed like she was introducing a celebrity. Naturally, the day led them to the Haunted Mansion. The line was 50 minutes long, but cast members noticed the tiny caretaker and her spooky “baby.” They whisked the family into a behind-the-scenes area called the Servants’ Quarters, showed them the old keys and bell system, and then slipped them straight into the stretching room.

When the doors opened, more cast members were waiting with official Haunted Mansion Caretaker certificates for Briar, and they escorted them right onto the ride. It was all charm and showmanship, the kind of Disney magic you can’t plan, only stumble into when you’re fully committed to the bit. Everyone was left in awe looking at the amazing outfits everyone had pulled on so effortlessly.

Back home, Creepy Chloe became a part of the routine, buckled into the car seat, seated at the breakfast table, tucked under Briar’s arm at bedtime. Neighbors waved, baristas asked for updates, and the doll somehow turned everyday errands into tiny adventures. Brittany realized that saying yes to her daughter’s odd little love had invited kindness from strangers, sparked giggles in long lines, and taught Briar that it’s okay to care for something others don’t understand. The doll might look unsettling, but its joy was honest and straightforward: a child feeling seen, a mom choosing play over perfection, and a family collecting stories they’ll still laugh about years from now.

By the end of the day, Briar had a cupcake, a chocolate keepsake, a surprise photo session, a special tour, and a certificate to prove she belonged in the mansion of happy haunts. Brittany still jokes that Chloe might be siphoning her soul at night, but she can’t deny the doll turned their trip into a story they’ll tell forever. Sometimes the weird choice becomes the best memory and memories made at such a young age stick to you forever!
