Most people wish to become parents after marriage at some point in life, so, like everyone else, Aaron and his wife always had to dream of having a beautiful little family and experience what it was like to become a parent. They did not just want to have biological children, but adoption had always been a part of their plan, too. How adoption gives a chance for babies to have a beautiful life is the most attractive part, and they wanted to give all their love and care to someone who needs it. The first few years after marriage felt like a dream as the couple was busy settling down and enjoying this beautiful part of their life.

In 2016, the couple was ready to extend their family, expecting things to be as magical as their love story and marriage. Most of their friends also had amazing experiences and were excited about what fate had in store for them. However, for them, it was going to be hard. Month after month of trying, no positive results were seen, and his wife, Aaron, was getting drained emotionally.
When Aaron was on the most challenging journey of his life, battling a chronic disease, it was his wife who stood beside him at all costs and made things better for him. However, back then, life was all about multiple surgeries, days and nights in the hospitals, and medications, yet his wife was his most significant pillar of support through it all. It was hard on Aaron to see his pillar of support and the love of his life under so much emotional burden because of infertility, and he wished to take away all of her pain, no matter what it took. The couple decided to see a fertility specialist with great hopes that things would get better for them, but even after tens of tests, the doctor looked confused.

Nothing obvious was seen in the reports that could confirm a diagnosis, so her treatment was started. Aaron’s wife had to get injections daily, and they also tried IUI thrice, with hopes it would work, but all it gave was disappointment after disappointment. The couple was only left with one last option, i.e., IVF. The process of IVF was not just exhausting and long, but it would affect them financially too; however, the couple decided not to give up and give it a try. You never know when things will take a positive turn.
Aaron stated how the procedure of getting an IVF was grueling as he saw her wife struggle and endure every pain silently without complaining, so that they could have a baby. Hundreds of injections, countless days at the hospital, restless, and after finding out how she had a kidney stone for which surgery was required later, they expected good news. Aaron hadn’t felt so helpless and weak, as there was not much that he could do for her other than being there and holding her tight while she endured the pain. The couple invested quite an amount to get their embryos genetically tested, and guess what? They ended up with five healthy embryos.

This was a ray of hope, until it vanished again after the first transfer. The couple knew that they might have to opt for adoption, but even the thought of giving up on such a beautiful journey broke their hearts and left them devastated. So they kept trying. The second transfer was also a failure, leaving them questioning why it was all happening.
Now, after the journey that turned laughter into tears and landed them at the lowest they had ever been, the couple agreed to give it one last time. And this time, it was meant to be! In a few days, when a call from the hospital was received, the joy returned in a few seconds. The couple was left shocked; however, the happiness was unmatched as the moment was no less than a miracle. The news did take years; however, it felt like their life would now be complete.

Aaron’s wife is almost 13 weeks pregnant today with his baby boy. While he looks at her, before a mother, he sees the strongest lady he has ever encountered, one who never complains and always goes beyond her physical and emotional capacity. Although there is still some time until the couple gets to hold their baby lovingly in their arms and tell them how much they love them for the rest of their lives, they pray for the road to be smooth this time.
